Philip graduated from British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (UK) in Osteopathy and Naturopathy (now B.C.O.M. ) in 1999.
Philip established ‘The Clarke Clinic’ in 2012 to offer the people of Hong Kong safe, effective manual and exercise therapy supported by scientific research. The clinic continues to grow attracting patients from around the globe.
With over 20 years of clinical experience Philip has a passion for learning, exchange of knowledge and mentoring with his colleagues from Osteopathy, other healthcare professions and sport and exercise professionals.
Philip graduated from British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (UK) in Osteopathy and Naturopathy (now B.C.O.M.) in 1999. From 1997-1999 he worked as an assistant-Mr Brian Joseph who specialised in the treatment of foot and ankle problems. On graduation, in 1999 Philip began working in Cranial Osteopathy, specializing in the treatment of children at the world renowned Penn Clinic for 5 years. Following this he specialised in the treatment of Sports Injuries at The Leicester Sports Injury Clinic and Syston Rugby Club, England. Philip continued his studies with the top teachers in the United Kingdom to deepen his knowledge, and later became a teacher of Cranial Osteopathy and a clinic tutor at B.C.O.M. In 2018 he successfully completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary osteopathy.
The main focus of his work draws upon a number of scientific disciplines (neuroscience, sports and exercise physiology, psychology and biomechanics) to assist his manual therapy. Over the last 20 years he has successfully used this approach to treat high level athletes including junior squash champions, a senior powerlifting champion, many martial artists, professional dancers, yoga and Pilates instructors and rugby players.
Philip came into Hong Kong in 2008 and established his own clinic-The Clarke Clinic in 2012 , in 2019 he expanded Reboot by The Clarke Clinic. Philip continues his passion for learning with the study of subjects such as sports psychology, Mindful meditation, Qi Going and Ayurveda. He is most passionate about the learning and exchange he gets from working alongside his colleagues at The Clarke Clinic and Reboot Studio. Currently he is working with Victoria Vargas on the development and refinement of her 5th Position Method and the concept of Dance Medicine.
